Collection & Digital Media Manager | Ruby City, San Antonio, TX

My responsibilities included collection management, registrar duties, conservation and collection care. Managed art handlers, vendors, and all exhibition installation. Worked closely with artists and their galleries to facilitate complex installations (ie. multi-channel video and mixed media installations) as well as obtain copyright permissions for the numerous works featured in Ruby City’s inaugural exhibitions. Facilitated all loan agreements, shipping arrangements, and conducted condition reports. Implemented branding guidelines and oversaw development of Ruby City website. Assisted in public program development and created didactic content and materials. Developed newsletters and generated press kits and media releases. Managed all archival content and databases. Regularly worked with artists such as Isaac Julien, Cornelia Parker, Susan Philipsz, Wangechi Mutu, Lara Schnitger, Lynda Benglis, Sean Sculley and Thomas Hirschhorn, among others.

Curatorial Assistant | Musée d’Orsay, Paris, France

January 2010 – June 2010

Worked as part of the curatorial team in liaison with the École du Louvre to co-curate a temporary exhibition titled Tous Collectionneurs (June 29 – November 7, 2010) under the direction of the curator of 19th century sculpture. Oversaw the research group that focused on the bronze foundry, Maison Susse Frères, wrote and translated exhibition texts.
